CJ + Alexis // Bozarth Mansion and St. Al's Church

Alexis was absolutely glowing on her wedding day. Watching her get ready was such a sweet experience, because you could tell she really did feel beautiful. One of my favorite parts about shooting weddings, is that I get to see women feeling the most beautiful, confident, and happier than they've ever felt. It really doesn't get old, and I don't think I will ever stop feeling this specialness to my job.

Anyone who has met CJ, will tell you that he is freaking hilarious. He had me laughing a lot on their wedding day, and it made a lot of Alexis's smiles so very genuine in her portraits. I got to know them on such a deeper level when their officiant shared letters that they had written in the wedding planning process. These two are seriously SO WELL written and spoken. The way they described each other and their relationship, was seriously poetic. It was a really good ceremony. REALLY GOOD.
